In the midst of frenzied sales of Apple Inc products, iPad, HP reportedly preparing Slate tablets products. HP Slate tablets basic version will be sold for U.S. $ 549, which includes 32 GB hard drive, 1 GB RAM, 1.6 GHz Atom processor, and 8.9-inch multi touch screen at 1024 x 600 pixels resolution. A 64 GB hard drive configurations will be available for U.S. $ 599.
Both HP Slate versions will include an SDHC card slot, USB ports, two camera (one external 3-megapixel and a VGA front facing to the use of video conferencing), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, support for 1080p video playback, a power connector, audio, and HDMI to the TV, and the SIM card slot for optional 3G connectivity.
Both of HP Slate tablet capable to run Windows 7 Home Premium with a touch screen user interface. The battery can last for five hours.
Although this news is still limited to rumors but on Engadget.com, they make sure that Slate will be sold by HP in the next June.
