Today Intel Xeon processor generation is already capable to represent some of the fastest silicon. But that was not enough!!!Intel soon will release Intel Nehalem Ex based on Xeons as their biggest leap in history.
To achieve this, Intel has tied these new processors with eight cores to each CPU, with a pair of threads per core and 24MB cache.In addition, Intel Nehalem Ex based on Xeons is integrated with memory controller quad-channel, Turbo Boost, and extraordinary ability scale up to eight soketN. This means users can use the same 64 core rigs.
It is estimated that these newer processors will be released in the middle of March. However, Intel could not yet specify the Intel Nehalem Ex price.
