Kaspersky Anti Virus 2010 has been awarded with prestigious awards from AV - Comparatives.Quoted from Kaspersky Anti Virus official statement, Tuesday (6/4/2010), in February 2010, the AV-comparatives run a testing comparison designed to evaluate the quality of on-demand malware detection from twenty popular anti virus solutions.
In these tests, every product signature database updated on February 10, 2010, while samples of malware that is used during the test were collected prior to that date, including 1.2 million from malicious programs that spread most widely. Although the levels of heuristic detection of all products tested were set to their maximum levels, Kaspersky Anti Virus 2010 only showed a small number of positives false.
Kaspersky Anti Virus 2010 received Advanced + rating, after showing a high detection rate and false positives which are not meaningful. Kaspersky Lab products also detect almost all macro viruses and worms.
