This service allows developers to make social networked applications, such as multiplayer gaming. Preview GameKit API (application programming interface) that provides these Game Center features available in iPhone OS 4 software and SDK (software development kit).
Users can invite friends to play games together, doing a multiplayer game, playing, checking results, and comparing the highest score.
API to develop applications that connect to Game Center is available now to use. However, new functions will run on iPhone and iPod Touch devices by the end of this year.
