Celebration of Earth Hour 2010 last week, used by computer manufacturer HCL Infosystems from India to release eco friendly laptop products named ME Series 40.

ME Series 40 is sold for approximately Rs41.500. ME Series 40 laptop claimed contain brominated flame retardants (BFRs) less than 0.1 percent, making it is recyclable and 100 percent environmentally friendly.

BFRs are the types of hazardous materials that are often found in electronic products. This material is used to reduce the level of vulnerability of electronic products so the product is not flammable easily.

The material currently highlighted by environmental activists. They called all user and electronic devices producers to no longer use BFRs because it has bad effects on humans and animals.

ME Series 40 laptop armed with Intel Core 2 Duo and have various important laptop features such as a 15.4-inch wide screen, 1.3 megapixel webcam, integrated Bluetooth and Windows OS 7.
