There are rumors that Apple going to announce the iSlate in a press event on January 27, 2010 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.iSlate is expected to incorporate a 10-inch (26 centimeter) with multi-touch display created by Innolux, a Foxconn subsidiary. The price is still unknown but there are predictions that the iSlate price is more expensive than the iPhone but cheaper than an Apple notebook computer.
iSlate is a produt from Apple to compete with in the market against Barnes & Noble nook, Amazon Kindle.
